2008 National TRIO Day

This event is designed to increase an awareness of the impact of state and federal legislation on TRIO & Cal-SOAP programs by providing our students with opportunities to speak about what TRIO & Cal-SOAP programs have done for them. NATIONAL TRIO & Cal-SOAP Day is a celebration event attended by students, staff and friends of TRIO & Cal-SOAP Programs to help raise public awareness of these programs and the role they play in creating educational opportunities for their participants.

If you have students who are interested in part of the Student Proclamations/Student Testimonials (5-7 minutes) please e-mail the following information to rordiway@yccd.edu:

An e-mail will be sent to the Program Supervisor confirm the student's participation.

We ask that the Program Supervisor attending National TRIO & Cal-SOAP Day with the students please prepare the student(s) for this participation and review the information the student(s) will be presenting.
