Brief Committee Description:  The Fiscal Affairs Committee is responsible for reviewing all budgets and subsequent revisions, contract agreements and forwarding recommendations to the Board.

Committee Assignments: Committee assignments as described in the committee description are continuous, review and revise the Fiscal and Accounting Policies of the Association, create procedure for disbursement of scholarships from WESTOP, create policy/procedure regarding C-vent. 

Committee Updates:

1. FAC received minutes from the 2006 WESTOP Conference and proceeded with the motion to provide a plan for the distribution of the Peggy J. Whitehead Scholarship to each Chapter in the amount of $1000.
1. The plan was proposed by FAC on December 14, 2006 to the WESTOP Board of Directors as follows:

1. Each Chapter is responsible for selecting their own Peggy Whitehead recipient utilizing the established scholarship criteria.
2. ALL Chapter recipients are to be selected prior to the Annual Conference.
3.  Only the recipient of the hosting Chapter will be asked to attend the Conference to receive their scholarship. All other Chapter recipients will be mentioned during the program.

Action Items:

1. Review FAC Manual for updates and propose changes to the WESTOP Board of Directors at the January Board Meeting
1. Include wording for Service Council
2. Possible wording for institutional membership
