Chapter Description:  The purpose of the Chapters is to bring together WESTOP Members on a geographical basis to articulate and act upon issues and concerns of their Membership within the purpose, objectives, and functions of WESTOP as expressed in Article 11, Sections 2.1 and 2.2 (Article 111, Section 3.2).

Chapter Updates:

1.  Last chapter meeting was held on December 13, 2006 via Polycom.

1. PDS Committee follow up:
1. received approval to host the next PDS at American Samoa University
2. Tentative dates for PDS: April 16-18th.
3. Registration arrangement are still pending
4. Hawaiian Airlines needs at least a guaranteed group of 10 for discount fair (discount unknown)
5. Working on setting up a website for registration
2. SLC:
1. Since there has not been any apparent interest in holding a PIC SLC as a whole group, it was suggested that smaller islands/territories wanting to hold an SLC be able to hold a “mini” SLC.
2. Motion was passed to use PIC funds for a mini SLC in FSM.
3. All PIC program students will be invited to attend
