Charges: Each Chapter shall have a Chapter President, who will chair chapter meetings, will act as spokesperson for the Chapter, and will be the Chapter Representative on the Board of Directors. (Article III; Section 3.5)
Chapter Update:
- Two Chapter meeting were conducted since the last board meeting. The first took place at CSU San Marcos on October 5th and the second took place on November 9th at the Ventura Beach Marriott.
- The chapter has elected Yara Jimenez as Chapter Secretary. Previous Chapter secretary, Esperanza Ramirez, has resigned due to accepting a new position at Lincoln High School in Los Angeles.
- The SoCal PDS took place in Ventura, Ca on November 7-9th. Over 60 Participants attended a very successful PDS.
- The Students Leadership Conference is scheduled for March 1st, 2008 and will be held at CSU Los Angeles.
- SoCal Westop Dodger night is a planned for May 9th, 2008.
- Next Chapter Meeting is scheduled at CSU Northridge on January 25th, 2008.
