Committee Members:
Committee Description: This committee shall be responsible for actively promoting, recruiting and retaining Membership in WESTOP. This committee shall also be responsible for developing the procedures to be used in the election of directors, developing lists of individuals eligible to be nominated and vote, and overseeing the counting of votes.
Committee Updates:
- PRIORITY 1: Welcome Kit
- The Membership Manual has been completed.
- Printing for the manual will occur later this month and ALL WESTOP members will receive a copy of the manual as they register.
- CDs with bylaws and other information is still being looked into.
- PRIORITY 2: C-vent
- Membership registration invitations went out via cvent in early July.
- We were at 100 members on August 15, 2007.
- Reminders for membership are scheduled to go out once a month.
- Membership roster was sent to NorCal for their first Chapter meeting.
- CenCal, I apologize for missing your first meeting.
- PRIORITY 3: Standardize New Member Orientation
- The powerpoint will go out to the Membership Committee later this month.
- Upon approval by the committee, it will be forwarded to the Board of Directors in the beginning of September and ready in time for the NorCal/Nevada PDS in late September.
- All Chapter Membership Chairs will be provided a run through over the phone prior to their workshop.

Action Items:
- Presidents from SoCal, Hawaii and Arizona, I still need a list of your meetings and events for the year so I am able to pull your membership rosters. Please also send me your Membership Chair so I am able to CC that person on the Roster e-mail and include him/her on the Committee.
