Objectives:

1. Migration of the WESTOP listserv from Hawaii to CSU, Chico
2. Introduce new methods to enroll new members to listserv
3. Redesign of the WESTOP website
4. Tuesday Technology Tips (revamped)
• More tutorials
• podcasting
5. Tech presentations at PDS/WESTOP
6. Introducing Innovative ways to promote WESTOP via technology, maybe a tech conference

 
Information:

1. Listserv:
1. Migration is slated for Sept. 4th, 2007. Email addresses have been harvested from the old WESTOP Listserv and will be uploaded as the time nears. 
2. Chico ETS Director Allan Bee suggested harvesting emails from CVENT as well.  I will work with him on this issue.  I approximate that the total number of email addresses added to the new WESTOP server should be around 1500.
3. Michael Moser and Leonard Woods are assisting in the process on the Hawaii side.  Announcements of impending migration will be sent out to the listserv starting Aug. 20th and will continue for two weeks on Mon. & Fri.  up until the cutoff day of Sept. 4th, 2007
4. Michael and Len also suggested moving an additional listserv (WESTOP-PIC) as well.  I am currently setting up their account and will attempt to harvest those meals soon.  The same deadline will used for this migration.
2. Tech Presentations:
1. I met with the committee members individually to discuss possible Tech presentations at the annual conference.  Many ideas were discussed but none really selected.  We will meet again in September prior to the NorCal PDS.
