COE/TRIO Listserv
Accessing the TRIO List is a two step process.
First step: Subscribe to TRIO.
Second Step: Send mail to and receive mail from the other TRIO subscribers.
The subscription process (first step):
You can join the TRIO list by sending an e-mail message to the address:
http://listserv.uwm.edu/mailman/listinfo/trio-list
(the subject line and body of the message are ignored and may be left blank)
You are done subscribing.
Second step: Sending and receiving TRIO mail:
When a member (subscriber) of TRIO sends mail to TRIO that mail is automatically
resent to all the other members of the TRIO List.
The Internet address of TRIO is: trio-list@uwm.edu
So here atUniversity of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, if I send e-mail to trio-list@uwm.edu, the resultant
e-mail will be sent to the TRIO List which will resend it to everyone
that has subscribed to the TRIO List. When those people logon to their
e-mail they will each have a letter in their mailbox from me. Any of
the subscribers to TRIO can do the same thing.
You may contact me directly at: dbp@uwm.edu

Talent Search listserv
You can subscribe to the TRIO-TS list by sending a message to: trio-ts-subscribe-request@listserv.nodak.edu
Ignore the subject line and body of the message. They should be left blank.
Guidelines
The TRIO-TS list will be forums specifically for the issues and concerns
of grantwriters preparing proposals. The idea is to reduce the message
flow on the TRIO List by moving those messages and discussions specifically
related to TS grant writing off the TRIO List and on to the TRIO-TS List.
The TRIO List will still be the primary list and I suspect that most
of the people who subscribe to the TRIO-EOC or TRIO-TS list will remain
on the TRIO List.
For this to work well, we'll need the following:
#1 Don't post the same message on both the TRIO and TRIO-EOC or TRIO-TS
lists. Posting the same message on both lists will just double the amount
of message traffic and defeat the purpose of having a separate list for
just those TRIO people working on EOC or TS grants.
#2 Send messages to the appropriate list. If the message is about the
upcoming EOC or TS competition and grant writing, it should be sent to
the TRIO-EOC or TRIO-TS List. Any other topics (including messages about
existing EOC or TS grants) should continue to go the the TRIO List.
